Our 12-LED MR11 has been designed to replace a 20W MR11 halogen for just 2W. It uses the same cap as the halogen MR11 so replacement is straight forward, this version does not have a glass cover as the LEDs sit level with the top of the unit – is a glass covered is required please look at our 6-LED or 8-LED versions.

The pins are spaced 4mm from centre to centre and the MR11 lamp is also described as a GU4 lamp.

The MR11 halogen is commonly used in spot lights, reading lights and extractor hoods and is easily replaced with an LED alternative. The MR11 halogen is easily identified as a conical shaped lamp with a 35mm diameter and two short pins spaced 4mm apart. If the diameter of your lamp is larger, please take a look at our MR16 section. Our 6-LED MR11 is the 10W halogen replacement and provide a convenient replacement as the cap used is exactly the same size as the halogen. All control circuitry for the LEDs is located within the cap so it is just a case of remove the halogen and replace with our LED alternative.
